It was a fantastic night for Kalmar at the 2026 Building People Awards, with 14 members of our team named as finalists across a range of categories.

Congratulations to Luca Denee, Matthew Morris, Dillon Taylor, Greg Bailey, Pedro Silveira, Cameron Nelson, Justin de Beer, Luke Kus, James Stevens, Nicholas Botha, Nathan Halloran, Thomas van Roekel, Sophia Wan and Nick Watson on this outstanding achievement.

Being represented by 14 finalists among some of the best people in New Zealand’s construction industry is something we’re incredibly proud of. It reflects the depth of experience, leadership, commitment and pride across our team, and the contribution our people make every day.

The night was made even more special with two category wins for Kalmar:

• Greg Bailey – Health, Safety & Wellbeing
• Nick Watson – Site Manager of the Year

While these awards are presented to individuals, achievements like these are built on the support of the teams and people around them. They reflect the collaboration, relationships and shared commitment that are fundamental to the way we work at Kalmar.

We’re incredibly proud of everyone who represented Kalmar on the night, and of the contribution each of our finalists makes to our business and the wider construction industry.
