Building B114 is a 1,700m2 2-level building with ground floor consisting of lecture halls and bathrooms and L1 comprising office space, staff kitchen, meeting rooms and toilets.
Our scope included a significant upgrade of the mechanical (new Hybrid VRF System), electrical, data, security, and plumbing services throughout.
Works requiring consent included the demolition of contaminated faced panels, creating a new fire egress and building a new concrete staircase.
Architectural features include a significant amount of Autex feature acoustic wall panelling.
The dates were critical for our client as university students were returning to the faculty for lectures in term 1.
Even with the daily logistical challenges of working in a busy campus in the city centre, our Interiors team delivered the project ahead of programme with minor defects.
