This project was an alteration and refurbishment to the internal and external spaces of an existing industrial building, which was altered to provide a fit for purpose new teaching facility for trade-based learning including electrical and associated staff facilities.
Due to the exceptionally short project timeline, the Client adopted an Early Contractor Involvement procurement approach.
Via a robust open book procurement Kalmar Interiors were able to offer value engineering and a competitive lump sum price before on site activities started.
Trades included extensive electrical and mechanical system upgrades together with a complete office / classroom construction and fit out.
